GeoRanke alternatives

GeoRanke is not the right tool for every case. If you run enterprise-scale programmes in English only, Profound fits better. If you track several European countries as separate segments, Peec AI. If your budget is tight and a handful of prompts is enough, Otterly.AI. What GeoRanke is actually built for is narrow: Turkish-language prompt tracking, multi-engine measurement from the entry plan, lira billing, and a REST API that is not gated by tier. If none of those four are on your list, one of the alternatives below is the better choice.

Where GeoRanke falls short

An honest alternatives list names its own gaps. Today GeoRanke trails the competitors on this page in three areas: global reference base and brand recognition (Profound and Peec work with far larger customer bases), agent analytics that measure how AI crawlers behave on your own site (Profound goes deeper there), and country-level segmentation for European markets (Peec’s structure is built for that). Separately, individual platforms can be paused when a provider-side problem makes their results unreliable; a paused platform disappears from screens and reports, because presenting an unmeasured thing as measured is the worst available option. The engine list below reflects that state — it is generated, not hand-written.

When you should leave us

There are three clear cases. First, if Turkish does not appear in your market at all and you need no language beyond English — then GeoRanke’s main point of difference produces no value for you. Second, if your procurement requires an enterprise contract, a dedicated support channel and an annual commitment; other products are built for that model. Third, if your entire need is five prompts a month — at that scale the cheapest entry tier is the correct answer and the rest of the comparison is noise. If you are in one of those three, pick from the table below; we are not going to argue you into staying.

How to run the comparison yourself

Choose on your own prompts, not on feature lists. The method: write down ten questions that people genuinely ask about your category (the prompt-discovery screen derives this list from your Search Console data, but writing them by hand works too), enter those ten in every candidate, and compare results on the same day at the same hour for a month. At the end, look at three things: in how many prompts the brand appeared, which sources were cited in the answers where it did, and whether the two tools agreed on the same day. The third is the most instructive — differences between tools usually come from scan timing and relevance filtering, not from the engine list.

The hidden cost of switching tools

The difference in monthly fee is usually a small part of what switching actually costs. The hidden items: time spent re-entering prompts, the team learning a new panel, rebuilding existing reporting templates, and above all the month of double payment while you run both products in parallel. On top of that the historical series breaks — in the new tool’s first month you have no comparison point, so that month’s number says nothing on its own. Switching on the price difference alone, without costing this out, rarely pays. A practical rule: if the new tool’s monthly advantage does not repay the switching cost within six months, do not switch. The one exception is needing to measure something the current tool cannot measure at all — Turkish prompt coverage, say, or an engine it does not cover. Missing measurement is worse than expensive measurement.

Which metrics can be compared across tools?

Two tools reporting different percentages for the same brand is normal and does not necessarily mean one is wrong. What is comparable: whether the brand appeared for a specific prompt (yes/no), the list of addresses cited in the answer, and the date a prompt was measured. What is not comparable: derived percentages such as a “visibility score”, share-of-voice calculations and sentiment outputs. Each of those is produced by the tool’s own formula; putting two scores side by side is like comparing grades from two different exams. When evaluating, look at raw data: for the same day, the same prompt and the same engine, compare the answer text and the source list each tool returned. If they differ, ask why — it is usually scan timing or relevance filtering, and that is where you see which tool runs cleaner.

In short: who each one is for

  • Profound — English-language markets, enterprise scale, agent analytics.
  • Peec AI — Europe, multi-country segmentation, quote-based procurement.
  • Otterly.AI — very tight budget, few prompts, preference for monthly billing.
  • GeoRanke — Turkish prompt tracking, multi-engine coverage from the entry plan, lira billing, API not gated by tier.

Frequently asked

Why does this list name your own weaknesses?

Because a comparison table that wins every row reads as advertising to readers and to models alike, and does not get cited. Signing up the wrong customer is also a loss for both sides.

Can I export my data and move to another tool?

You can export your mention records as CSV and read them through the REST API. We do not recommend merging series across tools, though — measurement methods differ, so a combined series misleads.

Can I use your free tools without being a customer?

Yes. The GEO analyser, AI bot checker, llms.txt generator and schema generator all work without an account.
