Comparisons

There is no single answer to "which GEO tool should I use?" — it depends on which constraint actually binds you. The comparisons below weigh four products on price, engine coverage, language support and API access, including the places where a competitor is the better choice.

Competitor figures on these pages are entered by hand and shown with the date they were verified; an undated number is a wrong number. Our own figures are not hand-written — the price comes from the plan table and the engine list is generated from the platforms actually being scanned.

The three questions that decide it

Choosing on a feature list misleads; three constraints decide the outcome. First, language: what language are the prompts you measure in? If they are in Turkish, a tool with no Turkish interface and no stated Turkish tracking will not meet the need at any price — a Turkish question is answered from a different pool of sources than its English equivalent. Second, prompt count: how many questions do you need tracked? That number drives your bill directly, and it is found by writing your real questions down, not by guessing. Third, engine count: against how many engines is each prompt measured? That decides how much of the picture you see. Write those three down, put your monthly budget beside them, and the shortlist usually collapses to two. Then compare on "monthly cost per prompt, across how many engines" rather than tier names; fifty prompts on one engine and ten prompts on eight are not the same product.

Why single-engine measurement is not enough

Being visible in ChatGPT does not mean being visible in Perplexity. These engines read different indexes: ChatGPT’s search layer uses Bing, Perplexity maintains its own crawler and index, and Google’s AI Overviews come from Google’s organic index. In an October 2025 analysis, Ahrefs measured that 28.3% of the pages ChatGPT cites most often had no organic Google visibility at all. The reverse holds too: a brand quoted in an AI Overview may be absent from ChatGPT entirely. So a tool that tracks one engine on its entry tier shows you a single slice of the picture for the money you pay every month. When comparing, look for the answer to "how many engines" on the ENTRY plan, not the top one — most products converge at the top, and the difference shows up at the entry point.

Where the figures come from, and when

Competitor figures on these pages are taken by hand from the competitors’ own pricing pages and shown with the date they were verified. An undated number is a wrong number: prices change, and nothing on the page reveals that they have. For a competitor that does not publish prices we write no estimate; the page says so plainly and points to their site. Our own figures are never hand-written — the price comes from the plan table and the engine list is generated from the platforms the system is actually scanning. There is a concrete reason for that: a platform we have temporarily paused must not appear in the table. Claiming support for an engine you are not scanning is the worst thing a measurement product can do. Every comparison page also carries a separate heading for the cases where the competitor is the better choice — a table that wins every row reads as advertising to readers and models alike.
